Our Company Signed the Contract for Astrakhanskaya SDPP “Key-Ready” Refurbishment

Energokaskad CJSC modernized Astrakhanskaya SDPP, so as it became a ready-to-operate plant, as per the Contract signed between Territorial Generating Company-8 of South Generating Company OJSC and Energokaskad CJSC for key-ready reconstruction of Astrakhanskaya SDPP with the construction of 110 MW CCGT. CCGT electric input capacity shall comprise not less than 110 MW and thermal input capacity shall comprise not less than 50 Gcal/h. Output capacities of main overage equipment now comprises 100 MW and 244 Gcal/h respectively. Hence, Astrakhanskaya SDPP electric capacity shall increase at 10 per cent rate after the reconstruction. Thermal loads shall be compensated by Astrakhanskaya TPP-2, that has been admitted to be more economically attractive, taking TPP spare thermal capacity potential into account. On the 10-th of November, 2007 Alexander Zhilkin, Astrakhan Region Governor, and Anatoly Chubays, Russian Federation Unified Energy System Chairman, participated in the solemn ceremony to start the realization of investment project called «Astrakhanskaya SDPP Reconstruction with 110 MW CCGT Construction».
